The Fields Of Evergreen (Private)

It was a bright daylight and a great time for an adventure! The sunlight was glaring but its shaded by the giant trees everywhere in the forest. Patches of light rays shun upon the ground. There was a windy breeze blowing along the way brushing along the shuddering leaves making a calm sound according the melodies of nature.

There stands a boy leaning against a giant tree standing on its long giant uproots. The scene were of somewhere within the area where there was some space of flat ground with tall grasses to short and then a giant patch of dry dirt.

The boy was wearing a thin white singlet, working gloves, shorts, boots and a waist belt with two boxes intact. He had his hands cross folded with eyes closed to take a deep breather of the fresh air and then a normal sigh. His head was looking towards his left though there was nothing infront but more trees in sight and then he faced forward saying ”Nee…Done yet?”

Indeed a cooling breeze it was however there stands another figure in the scene whom looks exactly like the whom was first introduced. Though his partner at the tree may be in a state of waiting and also being impaitient, he was rather relaxed, the other was not really free as he’s hands were currently full with tools.

The body was in stench of sweatiness that ait was even way too obvious that eventually the singlet was slightly translucent seeing the color of his body. He held 8 screws on his left and 2 screwdrivers on the right saying ”Hold on geez!” He seemed to be busy with something that relates to mechanics.

He was in a position of sitting on an uproot on low level with his head facing downwards on a machine that looks like some sort of spherical machine at the size of a soccerball but slightly smaller. He then screwed in the remaining screws within a few seconds or so. He stood up with hands stretched up high with a face of relieve and happiness shouting ”Done! Alright let’s go.” He then clicks onto a button with his feet and head out into the forest in a rush. The machine then made a ‘beep’ sound and it had been activated opening up its four legs of sticking onto the ground. The top of it opens up its lid with some sort of camera or sensor that had a light blue flash to its lens as though it was some sort of trap.

Now that his mate had finally done whatever he may have been doing with the machine activated, he as well followed on going into the forest from behind the lead. Before leaving the area of of where the machine had been implanted, he looked back at the machine with something in his thought and a sweatdrop. He faced back forward and then continued on their ‘escape’…?

About twenty seconds later, 2 Giant Mantis about twice the height of those two kids earlier came by the area where the machine or what would be called a trap activated. The machine’s lens turned bright red and then it exploded or not. It scattered out many small bottle cap sized balls in a number of 30 into the air where stands those giant mantis above it.

Multiple explosions could be heard from afar but within just twenty second wouldn’t be enough for those kids to get far. It was perhaps that they were being chased earlier on therefore they implanted the idea of placing a trap there. Being behind of one of the trees which was large or wide enough to cover them both. The one whom was standing earlier, Daisuke, observe those mantis from behind the tree at the right in the scene while his mate or twin brother was just nearby. He showed a signal stating that they move towards the target.

Daisuke took the first lead without observing whether his brother was following or not but he could care less. He slowly dashed from one tree to another waiting for the dust cloud to clear. He made half a turn around to get behind those mantis probally to aim for their weakest point, their abdomens. He took out one of the box which had been on his waist belt earlier. It did some unexplainable movement going moving in and out while floating on his palm. Daisuke placed a comment with a soft spoken voice ”Formation” and there it was in an instant.

Like stated earlier, it was obvious that Daisuke’s partner was his twin brothe and he goes by the name of Ryousuke. He has long taken noticed of his brother’s signal that he was going to charge in himself to those beast therefore as his partner, he stays behind to play his usual style, supporting his partner in action from behind the scenes.

He made a nod when he was given the signal but it seems that it was not necessary in the end. He remain at where he stands, behind a tree getting ready for battle or at least precautions for counter measure. He why of course had a similar looking box which would obviously do the same thing during its transformation but the designs were of different. With that, ”Formation” having a pair of sub-machine guns in a form of a prismic shape of two bullet holes for each.

Now, the dust cloud was clearing off being blown away by the windy breeze.towards the south-east therefore Ryousuke would be at the south while Daisuke was only around the north. From Ryousuke’s view he could see his partner therefore giving a nod to signify that he was ready to head into action anytime.

The mantis were slicing around the and then one of them, Giant Mantis A, accidently bump into the other and touch its head with its slicer which resulted in a fight among those two. Not very close they were but that only gives an opportunity for those whom targeted them to make their moves.

Truly not the finest scene to be seen but that could be cared less of between two monsters. Finally the chance to approach has arrived. Daisuke spread out both of his swords wide open left and right dashing in with his hands to reduce the wind resistance and to be at high speed. Since being behind had its advantage of being hidden at the mantis blind spots, he took the chance to first attack its abdomen.

Eventhough they were suddenly of enemies to each other, the mantis was face to face therefore they could observe each others back. Unfortunately, Daisuke had be spotted and by insect communication, the one that was about to be struck made a quick turn to dodge while the other dash forward at Daisuke. He didn’t had a chance to make a turn after attempting to use a cross slash which did not make contact with anything but the air.

Instead of making a turn to escape which would be pointless anyways since these mantis are quick, Daisuke did a three back step jump but the power of the mantis striking onto the ground made a wave of impact through the air as well as arising the dirt into a small dust cloud infront of Daisuke. While being blinded in his sight, he did his best to quickly escape from the area while being cautious of his surrounding. He had been too focus on one of the mantis which was a fault in planning when the other came dashing into Daisuke with its sharp edge.

Meanwhile in the midst of hiding, Ryousuke did his strategy planning and waited patiently for the right time to come. He had been watching the action the whole time but not only did he stood around doing nothing. Daisuke’s main purpose to him was to serve as a distraction while Ryousuke had to charge up his weapon’s bullet energy. ”Finally, electro cartridge” he said softly to himself with a smirk on his face.

It had also been of the right time when Daisuke was in a rough situation. Every coordinates of the mantis as well as his partner was memorized. With the proper control, he fired at a contant rate within a second of5 energy bullets of compressed electrical energy at the area making sure to strike his target especially the one getting nearer to partner without hitting him as well.

The electrical surge was flowing throughout the area as well as sparking out and around the mantis with them paralyzed. “Now!” he shouted out the signal for Daisuke to take up the spotlight once again. Meanwhile, he had to reload or recharge his weapon once again just incase.

Daisuke could not follow as to what was going to happen while he was in the dust cloud without being able to notice another consecutive strike was about to occur again one after another. He was truly about to be struck down but thanks to his brother, he managed to escape out alive.

While being in the area of target, he guard himself with hands crossed position infront of him with the weapons held in reverse. He wasn’t struck by anything in the end other than some static shock surging around. He had gotten the signal from Ryousuke and knew it was him that was firing at the giant mantises therefore he quickly got into action with his double blade gone into thin air.

He had made a change in his weapon and this time a pair of gauntlets up to his shoulder with some mechanical function installed into it. The was something that looked a large metallic gear on his gauntlet that covered his writst with strong metal covers. Some holes opened up for an instant and let out some gas and then the gas was actually twirling around him and slowly vanishing.

He quickly ran to a certain position where the mantises were in a straight line in his aim lock. He then ran straight into both the giant mantises, the first one started to spin vertically while Daisuke was pushing it to forward moving horizontally as well. Finally strucking them down, it seems that both could no longer continue therefore mission accomplished!
"Now then, let's go home, he said while turning over to Ryouske smiling.
